About MultiD
The first company focused on multidimensional data analysis, founded in 2001.
Who we are
MultiD Analyses AB was founded in 2001 by scientists and software engineers from leading Swedish universities. They had found that three-dimensional data can, under certain circumstances, be decomposed into contributions from individual components without non-trivial assumptions – a discovery regarded as one of the most important in analytical chemistry in the 1990s. It opened new ways to analyse test samples and study chemical equilibria.
Since then we have developed software and methods for analysing multidimensional data in life science: GenEx for gene expression, GenEx GxP for regulated laboratories and DATAN for chemical equilibria. Today our focus is on services, with RNA fragmentomics, single-cell and spatial analysis alongside our long experience in qPCR and dPCR.
Our team has co-authored the MIQE guidelines for qPCR, the digital MIQE guidelines for dPCR and recommendations for validating qPCR and dPCR assays in cell and gene therapy development.
Where we are
We are based at GoCo Health Innovation City in Mölndal, a life science hub next to AstraZeneca’s site in Gothenburg.
